It took 16 years but Hollywood finally did Godzilla right. A good balance of human drama, timing and stunning visual effects makes this an excellent monster movie. I love the premise they came up with for the origination of these creatures who come out of hibernation to feed on radiation. The Narrative of a man struggling to get home to his wife winds together with the monster narrative seamlessly. Rated pg-13 for massive amounts of monster violence and destruction. Also, for people dying left and right. Should be noted that two American cities, I wont mention here, get tromped by these rampaging creatures. This is definitely worth your time, especially if you're a fan of big G. This film is not for little children, unless you want to give them monster nightmares.
