This was really disappointing. My main beefs were the quality - as in cinematography, acting, sound, effects, writing, dialogue - nothing was well-executed at all. There was no subtleness in the delivery of the main themes. No credit was given to the audience. It was not executed well enough to tackle emotional themes like racism and war. Leave that type of deep story-telling to better equipped movies like "Glory" which was clever enough to accurately convey the horrors of war and the injustice of racism. When a movie like "Saints and Soldiers: the Void" has the cinematic ambience of an episode of MASH, it's hard to take it seriously, no matter what it's preaching.
