Middle school is not an enjoyable experience for preteen Greg Heffley (Zachary Gordon) but a horrid ordeal of social land-mines that he must bear. To do so, he devises schemes to win him the recognition and status he feels he deserves -- all of which fail miserably. Greg chronicles his misadventures, thoughts and opinions in a diary to prepare for the day that he will no longer have to put up with nonsense.

ages 12+ | Worth Your Time

I had hoped this film would be more affirming and uplifting but there is a lot of gross humor in it, and parents need to check the content listing below to decide for themselves if they want to take the kids to see it. However, a reconciliation in the movie is nicely done. We award our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal to this movie for ages twelve and above. This movie is about one wimpy kid who comes through in the end.

All of these are fun movies. Movies that adults can watch with their kids and both parties can relate to the film. They follow the books to a tee

I enjoyed the movie - it isn't anywhere close to my top 100, but if you don't have anything else to watch it is worth it.

ages 8+ | Not Worth Your Time

This movie disappointed me. The funniest parts are all in the trailer. You can see that on this page for free and save your time for something else :)
